When is Passover 2024?

Passover, one of the most significant Jewish holidays, begins at sunset on April 22nd, and ends at nightfall on April 30th. (14-22 Nisan 5784)

Passover holds profound significance as it commemorates the liberation of the Israelites from slavery in ancient Egypt, a story vividly recounted in the Book of Exodus. During this eight-day festival, Jewish families come together for the traditional Seder meals. These rituals involve retelling the narrative of the Exodus, partaking in symbolic foods, and observing cherished customs and traditions passed down through generations.

Passover is not only a time for reflection and gratitude but also a joyous celebration of freedom and renewal within the Jewish faith. It's a time for families to gather, share stories, and reaffirm their connection to their heritage!
